Rukia's shout echoed in his ears, and was the last thing he heard before jumping after the hollows who retreated. The Adjuchas had fallen, dead. It had taken hundreds of years of rivalry and battles to finally kill it. But his attention was not towards the sweet taste of victory, but his heart heavy with Rukia's cry.
The Gillian's howl strengthened with their intent to taste a Soul Reaper's flesh. Ashido swung his sword in vengeance, disposing twenty of those beasts with only one strike. He scowled as he heard a familiar, yet somehow invisible enemy shout,
"Gillians, Cero!"

Okay, so this is a writing request from...that'll be in the description. This is a one-shot from the game AQW, during one of the events that took place. I play this game too, so I know exactly what had happened. Logan sighed, and motioned them to the tree with a gesture of her head. They all followed, trudging along the wet grass. As they stepped under the thick branches, the raindrops that fell upon the top of tree hardly came down on either of them, though occasionally, a large drop would form at the tip of a leaf and fall. For some time, Brynn watched the drops carefully, as if it were the most interesting sight to see.
